![]() Microsoft Outlook Express
After installing and starting Microsoft Outlook Express, follow these steps:
![]() Choose |Tools| from the menu bar at the top of the screen. Select |Accounts...| from the drop-down list. ![]() After clicking on the "Add" command button in the upper right corner in the Internet Accounts screen you will have a choice of three options. Click "Mail" from the list. ![]() Beside the label "Display Name" enter the name that you want others to see when your email is sent. When you have entered a name, click [Next >] to continue. ![]() For "E-mail address" enter your email address (given to you at the time of signing up). Click [Next >] to continue. ![]() Choose "POP3" from the drop-down menu. The Incoming mail server is "pop3.netflash.net" and the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server is "smtp.netflash.net". Click [Next >] to continue. ![]() Click the radio button next to "Log on using:" and enter your username under "POP account name" and your password under "Password". Click [Next >] to continue. ![]() Name your email account something that will be easy for you to remember. For example "My NetFlash Account". Click [Next >] to continue. ![]() Select the first option from the three available; "Connect using my phone line". Click [Next >] to continue. ![]() You should already have an existing dial-up connection with us, please select that option. If you do not, select "Create new dial-up connection" and follow the steps on-screen. When complete, click [Next >] to continue. ![]() This screen indicates that you have successfully configured your mail settings. Click [Finish]. |
