Microsoft Outlook Express

After installing and starting Microsoft Outlook Express, follow these steps:


Choose |Tools| from the menu bar at the top of the screen. Select |Accounts...| from the drop-down list.


After clicking on the "Add" command button in the upper right corner in the Internet Accounts screen you will have a choice of three options. Click "Mail" from the list.


Beside the label "Display Name" enter the name that you want others to see when your email is sent. When you have entered a name, click [Next >] to continue.


For "E-mail address" enter your email address (given to you at the time of signing up). Click [Next >] to continue.


Choose "POP3" from the drop-down menu. The Incoming mail server is "pop3.netflash.net" and the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server is "smtp.netflash.net". Click [Next >] to continue.


Click the radio button next to "Log on using:" and enter your username under "POP account name" and your password under "Password". Click [Next >] to continue.


Name your email account something that will be easy for you to remember. For example "My NetFlash Account". Click [Next >] to continue.


Select the first option from the three available; "Connect using my phone line". Click [Next >] to continue.


You should already have an existing dial-up connection with us, please select that option. If you do not, select "Create new dial-up connection" and follow the steps on-screen. When complete, click [Next >] to continue.


This screen indicates that you have successfully configured your mail settings. Click [Finish].
